Kubo Sushi & Sake Lounge
About
This neighborhood spot handles both the precision work of sushi craftsmanship and the casual comfort of ramen and yakitori with equal care, drawing regulars who appreciate that these disciplines require different skills rather than shortcuts. The sake program reflects genuine curation rather than decoration, pairing thoughtfully with everything from delicate nigiri to charred skewers and crispy tempura. In Elgin's evolving dining scene, it's the kind of place where you can order omakase at the counter or grab a bowl of tonkatsu udon at the bar without feeling like you're choosing between two different restaurants.
